Pass-Plus Now AvailableBorders Driving School are pleased to be able to offer an additional service to its customers - Pass Plus Pass-Plusis a scheme aimed at reducing the accident, injury and death rate amongst newly qualified drivers by offering additional training in areas not covered in the basic training. It aims to improve newly qualified drivers with positive driving attitude and skills. The Pass-Plus scheme is voluntary and assessed by your instructor with no written exams to sit. You prove your understanding of the training by demonstration in the car. It is stressed that the course is almost all practically based (you in the car driving). The Pass-Pluscourse consists of a minimum of 6 hours training. This can be structured to your needs and could consist of three 2-hour sessions or two half days or a whole day out on the road - with appropriate breaks etc. So what's the cost? The full Pass-Pluscourse will be £160, but don't let that put you off because major insurers recognise the value of Pass-Plus and are offering significant discounts on new drivers car insurance. All companies differ but some offer up to a 50% saving. This saving alone should cover the cost of the Pass-Plustraining. So its a no-loose scenario for you. You become a better, safer, more confident driver better able to cope with the demands of to-days roads and traffic and you could save yourself some money too!
